About Pim van Lommel
For more than twenty years cardiologist Pim van Lommel has studied near-death experiences (NDEs) in patients who survived a cardiac arrest. In 2001, he and his fellow researchers published a study on Near Death Experiences in the renowned medical journal The Lancet. He, then, wrote the Dutch bestseller Endless Consciousness in 2007; over 100.000 copies were sold in the first year.
The NDE is an authentic experience which cannot be attributed to imagination, psychosis or oxygen deprivation. After such an profound experience, patient’s personalities underwent a permanent change. In Van Lommel’s opinion, the current views on the relationship between the brain and consciousness held by most physicians, philosophers and psychologists is too narrow for a proper understanding of the NDE phenomenon. The author provides examples and ways that our consciousness does not always coincide with brain functions; that consciousness can even be experienced separate from the body. -pimvanlommel.nl

What is a human being? It is the ultimate question, to which institutional science offers surprising answers. The materialistic paradigm, which has dominated institutional science for well over a century, states that the essence of consciousness can be reduced to the physical components of the brain. However, does an alternative scientific perspective does exist?
One of the most remarkable researchers into consciousness and the evolution of life is biologist Dr. Rupert Sheldrake. Dr. Sheldrake is the author of more than 80 scientific papers and ten books. He has won international acclaim for his experimental research on his hypothesis of morphic fields and morphic resonance. -thunderbolts.info

August 25, 2014–Justin Gardiner interviews Tom Campbell on Tom's journey as a physicist and consciousness researcher.
The information in this episode may startle some of you, meanwhile some of you will feel a sense of affirmation and still some of you will undoubtably feel anger. These are the reasons why this is such an important episode!
Tom Campbell began researching altered states of consciousness with Bob Monroe at Monroe Laboratories in the early 1970s where he and a few others were instrumental in getting Monroe's laboratory for the study of consciousness up and running. These early drug-free consciousness pioneers helped design experiments, developed the technology for creating specific altered states, and were the main subjects of study (guinea pigs) all at the same time. Campbell has been experimenting with, and exploring the subjective and objective mind ever since.
For the past thirty years, he has been focused on scientifically exploring the properties, boundaries, and abilities of consciousness. During that same time period, he has excelled as a working scientist, a professional physicist dedicated to pushing back the frontiers of cutting edge technology, large-system simulation, technology development and integration, and complex system vulnerability and risk analysis. Presently, and for the past 20 years, he has been at the heart of developing US missile defense systems.
Show Notes:
-How Tom used transcendental meditition to learn to debug software 100 times faster
-The Physics of Metaphysics
-How Tom met Bob Monroe of the Monroe Institute
-How Tom learned to go "out of body"
-Measuring the "scientific validity" of altered states of consciousness
-Tom's revolutionary out of body experience
-Interpreting data from the "Larger Consciousness System"
-How Tom found out that reality is information
-The three fundamental paradigm shifts that will occur
-The Simulated Nature of Reality
-What is consciousness? and the purpose!
-The limits of knowledge
-Emergence of complexity
-The science of LOVE
-Dysfunction of competition
-Deterministic or probabilistic nature of reality
-What is Time?
-"As above so below"
-The Model of Reality vs Reality
-Tom's top 3 way to Reconnect
The Truth in any situation is not meant to be prescribed. It is up to you as an individual to develop your idea of what is Truth. Here in this episode Thomas Campbell will provide some of the latest knowledge from his studies in the realm of physics. This knowledge shatters our current collective stance on the nature of reality. It is your job to allow this information to flow through your psyche and to determine the information as useful or useless. -reconnectedhuman.com

The value of Tom's My Big TOE theory is that it is the best framework to date of how our reality works, and that it is inclusive of everyone.
The fundamental truths are there for both theist and atheist to agree on as well as scientist, "paranormal" researcher, prophet and philosopher.
They all have a piece of the puzzle and they can all be right.
Historically, there have been isolated "bubbles of enlightenment". Modern technology has given us the means of mass communication, such as the internet, to share ideas and move forward in our understanding and evolution.

Tom Campbell Supports Dr. Rupert Sheldrake's 10 Dogmas of Science, April 22, 2014
Source: my-big-TOE.com, sheldrake.org
Tom Campbell, physicist, and author of My Big TOE, responds to Dr Rupert Sheldrake's 10 dogmas of science from Dr Sheldrake's book The Science Delusion (Science Set Free in the US), and discusses the one concept that shakes up materialist worldview scientists the most - Consciousness.
Materialist worldview scientists have taken small steps for man for the past 100 years and now need to understand (fittingly from a NASA physicist) that the next "giant leap for mankind" in science is Consciousness.
Note: MBT theory scientifically derives a supreme being, what Tom calls the Larger Consciousness System, and what some may call God.

Anthony Peake | The Infinite Mindfield: The Mystery of Consciousness, September 23, 2013
Source: redicecreations.com, anthonypeake.com
September 23, 2013–Anthony Peake grew up near Liverpool, England. He studied sociology and history at the University of Warwick before attending the London School of Economics. Prior to becoming a full-time science writer, he was a management consultant in the human resources industry. He is the author of several books and probably best known for his fascinating theory, which he terms Cheating the Ferryman. It suggests a new approach to the nature of consciousness and its relationship with the external world. His previous titles include The Daemon, The Labyrinth of Time, Is There Life after Death? and Out of Body Experiences.
In this program, we discuss his latest book, The Infinite Mindfield. Peake delves into what many scientists believe to be the thorniest problem, namely how does the material substance of the brain give rise to the ethereal self-awareness we all experience? Peake says that when you look at things like the science of quantum mechanics or the astonishing properties of DNA, you can't help but realize that everything is driven by consciousness. He says that our understanding of our own mind is very limited, yet we have materialistic scientists drawing conclusions based on this limited understanding. -redicecreations.com

Tom Campbell (NASA physicist, Large Complex Systems Analyst), shares his insights on the discovery by Dr Rupert Sheldrake (Science Set Free) of official records in the London Patent Office containing recorded variances in the speed of light throughout various times in history.
Presented by mainstream science as an unshakeable constant, Tom explores the why and how this constant may change and the implications of this information on our existence with reference to quantum mechanics, technology, the probability of travel to other universes, and how it relates to human evolution and purpose.
Notable quotes by Tom from this interview: "Consciousness is the Computer, Dr. Fredkin!" "Virtual Reality is becoming acceptable physics." My note: The term Larger Consciousness System (the intelligent, highly organized "programer" that we are a part of) may be interpreted by some as God. Interview by Donna Aveni.

Source: mybigTOE.com
If you accept that this is a probabilistic digital reality as Tom Campbell has derived in his My Big TOE scientific model, then many paradoxes of science and philosophy are simply solved.
Zeno was a fifth century Greek philosopher known for his paradoxes, some of which are discussed here with reference to digital reality and quantum mechanics.
In a radio interview in 2009, Tom was asked by a listener "Einstein's equation is E=Mc2. What would your equation be? " He answered, R=I (he explains this is more of an identity than an equation).
The steps current science needs to take toward understanding the nature of reality are: 1. R=I (Reality equals information.) 2. I=VR (Information derives our Virtual Reality) 3. VR=C (Consciousness is the self aware information system wherein the VRs computations are made)
Having unified physics and metaphysics with My Big TOE (it has to be big to cover the known and unknown), Tom's statement within the context of this discussion that "there is no distance" supports the often asked questions such as why does distance healing work, how does telepathy work, and where do psychics get their information?

Some have said that physicist Tom Campbell's My Big TOE model of reality has scientifically derived God. Tom explains this living entity in his science terms as the executive branch of the LCS (Larger Consciousness System). In regards to the LCS, the concepts of "perfect" and "infinite" are discussed.
Tom's expertise as a large complex systems analyst for NASA, and his expertise in exploring the multidimensional realms of our reality, led him to logically deriving My Big TOE from only two assumptions; Consciousness exists, and it evolves. (An elegant model has few assumptions; most current popular models have 14 or more).
The value of MBT many have found is that it is a "model that explains the data you collect in your subjective experience.
"Below are definitions, subjects covered, and quotes from this discussion:
Low entropy is a science term meaning organized and effective. Here, low entropy is in the context of the quality of being.
What is faith? What path best promotes spiritual growth? Does religion fit into the MBT model? What is our purpose? How does this reality work? "Is turning the 'other cheek' always the right thing?" Is to "be" the better part of believe?
Quotes by Tom from this discussion: "Truth is universal", "The Truth isn't owned by an organization", "The reality we live in is a creative process" (explains why artists from all disciplines are so in touch with the larger reality?) Donna Aveni
