July 19-2011–Michael Cremo is on the cutting edge of science and culture issues. In the course of a few months time he might be found on pilgrimage to sacred sites in India, appearing on a national television show in the United States or another country, lecturing at a mainstream science conference, or speaking to an alternative science gathering. As he crosses disciplinary and cultural boundaries, he presents to his various audiences a compelling case for negotiating a new consensus on the nature of reality. Michael Cremo is a member of the History of Science Society, the World Archeological Congress, the Philosophy of Science Association, the European Association of Archaeologists and a research associate in history and philosophy of science for the Bhaktivedanta Institute.
After receiving a scholarship to study International Affairs at George Washington University, Michael began to study the ancient histories of India known as the Vedas. In this way, he has broadened his academic knowledge with spirituality from the Eastern tradition.

July 4, 2011–Unorthodox researcher Michael Cremo discussed his continuing work in forbidden archeology-- studying objects that demonstrate the idea of extreme human antiquity. The notion that humans similar to us lived millions of years ago is written about in ancient Sanskrit texts from India, which interestingly also describe vimanas-- flying craft that resemble accounts of modern day UFOs. One Sanskrit text tells of a vimana, a metal craft with energy beam weapons, which attacked a huge city in India 5,000 years ago. Other vimanas were akin to "mind ships" that were made of subtle energies and could travel to different dimensions, he added.
Cremo detailed the discovery of Reck's Skeleton found in 1913 in Olduvai Gorge in Africa. It was an anatomically modern skeleton embedded in layers of rock that date back up to 1.7 million years ago. This provides evidence "that over a million and half years ago humans like us were existing," he said. There is also a "neanderthal" skull found at a mine in Africa that has a perfectly round hole that looked just like a bullet entry. It was found in strata several hundred thousand years old. We can't rule out the possibility that they had firearms in very ancient times, he commented.
A carved human figurine was uncovered during a drilling going down 300 ft. in Nampa, Idaho in 1889. The geological strata dates back to the Pleistocene age from around 2 million years ago, Cremo noted. He also shared his theory of de-evolution which suggests that humans have devolved from a higher state of consciousness that exists apart from matter.
