Washington's promise of financial assistance to Ukraine goes against U.S. legislation - as its Foreign assistance act clearly states the country where the government was deposed by a coup d'etat. But Publisher of the Trends Journal, Gerald Celente, says it's not the first time the U.S. bends the rules for it's own agenda. -RT.com

Tehran has signed an agreement with the UN's atomic watchdog that gives it access to several of Iran's nuclear facilities, including the controversial Arak heavy water plant. But there was no progress in the latest round of talks on how to limit Iran's nuclear programme. France is widely blamed for stalling a breakthrough, while Israel lashed out at its allies for negotiating what it called a 'dangerous deal'. Gerald Celente, publisher from the Trends Journal, joined RT studio. -RT.com

Gerald Celente | The Decline of USA & The Individual Solution, November 20, 2012

November 20, 2012–Gerald Celente is an American pioneer trend strategist who observes and analyzes the current events forming future trends for what they are. He is an author, business consultant and publisher of the Trends Journal, which forecasts and analyzes business, socioeconomic, political, and other trends.
Celente has described himself as a "political atheist," unencumbered by political dogma, rigid ideology or conventional wisdom, his motto is "think for yourself." Gerald will discuss the 2012 USA Presidential Election aftermath. On a good note, 11 million less people voted in the US this year, although the masses are still in a state of Stockholm syndrome, allowing psychopaths get away with murder.
We’ll discuss the decline of the USA and how it is becoming a militarized, fascist nation. Gerald says the only way out of this system, is to not support it. He recommends the Swiss model of direct democracy.
One of the top trends he sees is the state secession movement, which he says could happen easily, productively and economically. Bottom line, he explains how it comes down to the individual as the solution. Gerald shares the trend he sees for the next 4 years in America. We end on a discussion about leading by example, returning to a renaissance and honing your secret individual weapon. ~Red Ice Creations

January 18, 2012–In a special program, George Noory was joined by Linda Moulton Howe to interview four guests, who appeared in individual half-hour segments, about the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2012, which contains controversial provisions such as the holding of suspects without due process or habeas corpus. Jonathan Emord, who practices constitutional and administrative law, believes the NDAA is unconstitutional in that it allows the military to incarcerate individuals indefinitely, without charges or a trial. When this kind of thing happens in secrecy, without judicial check, it's the end of liberty, he commented. Linda noted that the language in the Act doesn't specify whether US citizens might be held under this kind of military authority with their rights suspended.
Independent journalist David Seaman reported that people across the political spectrum who hear about the NDAA are opposed to it, but because of the lack of the mainstream press coverage most Americans remain unaware of it. At this juncture, Congress has no reason to pass this kind of indefinite detention statute, and it raises the question that some hidden motivation is in play, said Linda. Seaman conjectured that the NDAA may eventually be used against Occupy protestors.
Producer Tyrel Ventura, the son of Jesse Ventura, suggested that the NDAA isn't really about fighting terrorism but rather it's to control the populace, in the event of rebellion, possibly related to food or water shortages, or other crises. We live in a corporate dictatorship, and many of these companies have connections to the Defense Dept. and it's in their interests to have a lockdown society, he added. Trends analyst Gerald Celente declared that fascism has come to the US. He believes the NDAA has been put into place because there's going to be "economic martial law," and "bank holidays" which will cause rioting in the streets.
Appearing during the last hour, radio host/filmmaker Alex Jones sounded off on the topic, and related issues. "This is a big wake-up call, and they've been training the military for a long time to arrest citizens and take people to facilities," he said, adding that measures like the NDAA are part of a larger program. For instance, the TSA is now operating checkpoints on highways, and at bus & train stations, and "this is really the seizure by the federal government, and the special interests that have hijacked it, of our entire infrastructure," he said. Jones advised people to stand up against these policies-- "like a bucking bronco, all we've got to do is throw the New World Order off our back."
Atomic Testing Museum
First hour guest, Cmdr. Allan Palmer, director of the Atomic Testing Museum located in Las Vegas, talked about the history of the testing of nuclear weapons, and some of the exhibits at their museum, which include a simulation of an atomic blast in the desert. In March, the museum will open a new exhibit on the secretive Area 51, informed by some of George Knapp's investigative research, he announced.

Filling in for George, Rob Simone welcomed trends analyst Gerald Celente for a conversation about what he foresees as the major trends for 2012. Here are several of them that he highlighted:
- Economic Martial Law-- Considering the current economic and geopolitical conditions, central banks and world governments already have plans in place to declare economic martial law, and "bank holidays" could be announced at any time, he warned.
- Battlefield America-- With the signing of the National Defense Authorization Act in December, the military can take US citizens away without charges. As such, America has been declared a battlefield, though the mainstream media has barely noticed, he commented.
- Invasion of the "Occtupy"-- The leaderless Occupy Wall St. movement has multiplied and grown into a "giant, formless creature with tentacles that reach around the globe." Celente sees this as a successful movement, and a megatrend of the new millennium.
- Alternative Energy 2012-- A new crop of exciting energy possibilities are on the horizon. "There's a rumor going out that Home Depot has bought the rights," to a cold fusion type device, as developed by Andrea Rossi in Italy, and that could be a real game changer that lifts up the economy, he said.
Other trends he talked about included "affordable sophistication," in which even during economic hardship people crave style and quality, and "Big Brother Internet," where the government may require Internet users to present the equivalent of a driver's license to navigate cyberspace. He also suggested that the conflict with Iran will heat up, possibly turning into a full-fledged war, now that the US has imposed sanctions on Iran, with no countries being able to buy oil from them.
Secret Facilities
First hour guest, author and researcher Nick Redfern talked about top secret facilities around the world such as Area 51, HAARP, and Australia's Pine Gap facility. Lesser known is a well-guarded installation located in Zhitkur, Volgogradskaya Oblast, that has been called Russia's Area 51. There've been rumors of back-engineering of alien craft, alien autopsies, and the development of alien viruses as bioweapons taking place there, he detailed. Redfern also discussed vaults and catacombs that are said to run underneath the Vatican, and contain massive amounts of gold, priceless paintings and religious artifacts.
